Here is some information to help you make your decision for courses in the 2025-2026 school year:

• High School Graduation Requirements - Information on the HS Credit System, what the course numbers mean, and the specific HS Graduation Requirements are listed on pages 3 and 4 within this linked document.

• Program of Studies (Course Descriptions) - Descriptions for specific courses are included within this linked webpage. If you are unsure what a course is all about, please check it out here.

• Choose a program that is consistent with your abilities and interests.

• Do not choose course based on what your friends are doing. 

• Ensure that you choose all required courses first before you choose electives.

• Complete alternate courses for the electives as your first choice of elective may not always be available.

• Course selection forms are important. Please hold onto them and get them signed by teachers to support the courses you wish to take. These forms must be signed by your teacher during your scheduled periods (or during breaks) and not when you are with another teacher.

• Use a pencil to complete your forms, as you may wish to make changes while you decide.

• Course Presentations will take place from Tuesday, March 18 to Thursday, March 20th. Please see the schedule posted on the CC Assessment Calendar.

• Family Course Selection Information meetings will take place at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 19th in the school gymnasium.
